Welcome Kim!

Please meet Kim Mancini, who recently joined the Acadia Benefits team. Kim joins us at 50 Portland Pier as our Office Manager and we are thrilled to have her supporting our customers and team! Here is a little more about Kim:

Why did you join the Acadia Benefits Team?
“One of the most important aspects that set Acadia Benefits apart in my job search was their reputation. The longstanding relationships that they have with their customers speak volumes about their commitment to providing the best possible service.

I was looking for a position with a company that values work-life balance and it was evident throughout the interview process that Acadia Benefits not only values each employee but also wants every team member to be successful both at work and in their personal lives. I am currently studying Project Management at the Roux Institute and this position allows me flexibility so I can continue my learning. Lastly, I was very impressed with the opportunities that Acadia Benefits provides for their employees to grow with the company.

Before joining the team, I worked in a variety of roles including retail management, customer service, training, nonprofit management, and fundraising. I also have experience working in a medical office. I earned my undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Southern Maine.”

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
“I enjoy spending time with my family including traveling and attending my son’s many sporting events. Throughout the spring and summer, you can generally find us on a baseball field in Maine or elsewhere in New England. I grew up locally and love spending time outside including going to the beach, hiking, walking my dog Ruby, or being on a boat. My hobbies include cooking, entertaining, and interior design.”
