The IRS has issued the final employer-shared responsibility (“play or pay”) regulations and employers promptly need to determine if they are large enough for the requirements to apply to them.  The employer’s size also determines when any penalties will start to apply.  Employers need to be up-to-date on which workers must be counted and which of an employee’s hours must be considered.  Employers also need to understand how full-time and part-time employees are counted and how related companies affect the employee count.   In this webinar we will help you understand how to determine your status under the new rules, and how the transition rules may help you.  (The actual requirements for large employers, including the optional measurement and stability periods, will be covered in a separate webinar.)  If you have 50 employees, or think you might, you won’t want to miss this informative webinar.
