Over the last few months, Scott and other members of the Acadia Benefits team have worked diligently to design our new office at 50 Portland Pier. And coordinating the move of our current office. And figuring out where to donate the furniture we won’t be bringing with us. And shredding files and documents from the last 20 years that are no longer needed. And picking out paint colors, light fixtures, cabinets, carpet tiles and more for our new space. Needless to say, it’s been an undertaking!
We had been on the lookout for space that would suit a variety of needs including accommodating all our employees in an environment that was safe given our current COVID challenges. Being a Portland based business for over 30 years, staying in the Old Port was a non-negotiable. We knew from the moment we entered the 3rd floor of 50 Portland Pier, this was it! The space was unfinished, so we had the ability to design and build to our specific requirements. This includes individual offices for each team member, a large conference room, lounge areas for smaller group conversations and a state-of-the-art air filtration system.
After months of planning and preparation, the final move to 50 Portland Pier will be happening this week. We are excited about this next stage in the evolution of Acadia Benefits and can’t wait to be back together with our team starting next week.
