Meet Will McEwen, New Producer at Acadia Benefits, an IMA Company

Please join us in welcoming Will McEwen to the Acadia Benefits, an IMA Company team! As a Producer, Will helps organizations navigate the employee benefits landscape by building strong relationships and developing customized solutions that support recruitment, retention, and long-term success. Will’s energy, work ethic, and eagerness to learn have already made him a great addition to the team.

Why did you join the Acadia Benefits, an IMA Company team?

“After many years of working closely with organizations and HR teams, one thing has become very clear to me: success is not about being the largest company or having the biggest name. It is about the people behind the service and their commitment to showing up for clients every day.

Acadia Benefits has built an undeniable reputation over 35+ years by doing exactly that. In my previous roles, I worked with many mutual customers of Acadia Benefits and always heard great feedback about their team and the work they do. 

With the added resources of IMA, Acadia Benefits is able to broaden its impact while staying true to the relationships and service standards that set the firm apart. I’m excited to contribute to that growth by building new connections and delivering meaningful results for the organizations and people we serve.”

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

“Outside of work is my why. I’m a proud dad of two, with baby number three due in just a few weeks. This chapter is the most challenging and rewarding part of my life, and right now I try to spend every moment I can outside of work with them.

As the kids get older and still think hanging out with dad is cool, I love being outside with them. Golfing (or in my case hiking, since most of my shots end up in the woods), playing old man basketball, mountain biking, long motorcycle rides, fixing/improving things around the house, and staying as active as possible.”

What else do you want people to know about you?

“On a personal note, a bit of a hidden talent is that I’m fluent in Spanish. It was actually my first language growing up, which tends to surprise friends, coworkers, and clients when they find out. It’s also come in handy more times than I can count.

On a professional note, I value relationships and integrity above everything else. I know trust takes time to build, and I try to be honest and transparent with every client I work with. I never pretend to be the smartest person in the room. Instead, I focus on listening, asking the right questions, and knowing when to bring in the right people to make sure clients are truly taken care of. It’s a reputation I’m proud of, and one I’m confident my past clients and partners would agree with.”

Will is excited to continue building his knowledge of the employee benefits industry and looks forward to connecting with our clients, carrier partners, and industry peers. He has already stepped in with enthusiasm, and we’re confident he has a strong and successful path ahead.
